Everyone wants to leave more than just memories with loved ones (or charities). Spalding Law Office will work closely with you to develop an estate plan that protects your assets. Jennifer will implement strategies to reduce or avoid estate taxes and ensure assets are not lost to bankruptcy or divorce of your heirs. The sooner you begin planning for what you want to leave behind, the more likely you’ll be to achieve your goals.
Families—even young ones—need to protect themselves from unforeseen circumstances. Do you know who will take care of your minor children if you and your spouse are unable? Do you have a plan for providing for your children should you and your spouse become incapacitated or pass away? Spalding Law Office is committed to educating families on the steps they can take to protect their family’s future in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Planning your future is not just about how your assets are distributed when you pass, it includes planning for incapacity. What happens should you suffer a stroke or fall into a coma? Who makes healthcare decisions on your behalf, and who handles your affairs until you recover? Jennifer understands these are difficult—and very personal decisions. She will assist you with documenting your beliefs and wishes so loved ones are prepared to step in and assist when needed.
